After negotiations with the central government, farmers have received permission to hold their tractor rally on January 26. In the meantime, a masked man was caught on Friday night, claiming to have conspired to incite violence at the farmers' protest site on that day.

At a late-night press conference on Friday, the man claimed that he along with others were assigned to "shoot" protesting farmers during the Republic Day tractor parade. He also alleged that a police personnel had trained them.

Later, in another video, the masked man reportedly said that he was forced by the farmers to say all those things at the press conference. He also alleged that the farmers had threatened him.
