As the sit-in protests against the farm laws continue at the borders of New Delhi, many have fallen ill. In response, doctors at Tikri Border are working to establish warmer shelters for the elderly and sick.

The Wire spoke to Dr Svaiman Singh who is leading the reconstruction of the Bahadurgarh Bus Stand.

When demonstrations began, the construction of the bus stand had been halted. Now, it's being done by the farmers themselves.
