Watch: Bundelkhand Has Mandis Worth Rs 635 Crore. So Why Are Farmers Still in Trouble?

Today, there is no buying and selling in most mandis.

In order to provide agricultural markets to farmers in seven districts of Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh, a total of 138 mandis were created at the district, tehsil and block levels after spending Rs 625.33 crore. Today, there is no buying and selling in most mandis, with rusted locks hanging on the premises. Local farmers are upset.
