Protesting against the three Central farm laws, the umbrella body of the farmers' union, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, observed a nationwide shutdown (bandh) on September 27 from 6 am to 4 pm. Yaqut Ali and Seraj Ali of The Wire spoke with farmers sitting on the railway track in Haryana's Bahadurgarh railway station. They asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi can make time to visit the site where the new parliament is being built, why can't he meet the farmers. For more details, watch the vide.
