With an intention to break the resolve of the protesting farmers, the Centre has not only used its agencies to target farmers but has also been unleashing propaganda on TV channels against protestors.
False stories are being aired on channels supportive of the government to tarnish the image of the protestors, by calling them 'anti-national' forces and of having 'Khalistani' connection.
More recently, it has roped in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to intimidate the protestors and activists who threw their weight behind the farm law protests.
