New Delhi: Literary agency Siyahi has announced two writer’s retreats in Jaipur in May and June 2025.

The retreats are designed for writers of all levels, from aspiring authors to those who have already completed a manuscript, the agency said.

The first retreat, called ‘Chapter one – Creating unforgettable romantic stories’, will be curated by Siyahi CEO Mita Kapur. The writers will be mentored by author and screenwriter Anuja Chauhan, Karthika VK, who is a publisher at Westland Books and Nona Uppal, a content creator and author.

The workshops will be held from May 26-June 2 at Raffles, Jaipur.

“The retreat will cover various aspects of the writing process for romantic stories, with a special focus on creating the perfect opening. Participants will be guided through the challenges of narrative structure, character development, pacing, and brand building,” the agency said.

The second retreat, called ‘Chapter Two – The Art of Storytelling’, will be held from June 16 to June 30 at Padmaa, Jaipur.

The mentors for the second retreat include oral historian and author Aanchal Malhotra, journalist and editor Prem Panicker, Poulomi Chatterjee, who is a publisher at HarperCollins India and Prateek Agarwal, a marketing and communications expert.

“The retreat will cover various aspects of the writing process, with a special focus on editing and the process of finding representation. Participants will also be guided through the challenges of narrative structure, character development, pacing, and brand building,” the agency said.
