Arfa Khanum Sherwani speaks to Kancha llaiah Shepherd and professor Rizwan Qaiser about suppressing unheard voices. Delhi University’s standing committee for academic affairs has recommended that three “controversial” books written by activist and academic Shepherd be dropped from the reading list for political science students.

Several academics and Dalit scholars have spoken out against this move, saying the university is trying to 'sanitise' education.
