New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh police on Monday (April 7) arrested a restaurant owner in Noida for allegedly delivering chicken biryani to a customer who had ordered vegetarian biryani through a food delivery app.

The action against the restaurant owner happened after the woman who had ordered vegetarian biryani claimed in a video posted on social media that the restaurant, Lucknowi Kabab Paratha in Sector 2, sent her a non-vegetarian biryani even though she ordered a vegetarian biryani, reported Indian Express.

“…I also had one or two bites from it. I am a pure vegetarian and in Navratri, they have sent non-vegetarian biryani… They have done it knowingly,” said the woman in the video.
