December 6, 2019, will mark 27 years since the Babri demolition. In Ayodhya, 27 years ago on this day, kar sevaks demolished the Babri Masjid. On November 9, the Supreme Court gave its verdict on the land dispute in favour of the Hindu parties.
In addition, the court has ordered a separate five-acre land to be given to Muslims to build a mosque. The Wire's senior editor Arfa Khanum Sherwani speaks to social activist Harsh Mander and senior journalist Qurban Ali.
