A Muslim family in Gurgaon’s Dhamaspur village was attacked on March 21, the evening of Holi, by a group of men.

The incident began when members of the family, who were playing cricket nearby, were told to go play in Pakistan by a group of men. There was an argument and then the men disappeared.

Not too long after, a larger group of men, allegedly from the Gujjar community, rode in on motorcycles. Armed with sticks, they broke the windows upon finding the main door locked, entered the house and proceeded to smash things and thrash members of the family.
