This year on January 30 will be exactly 75 years to Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination at the hands of those against his message of non-violence and fierce defence of a syncretic India. Recent years have seen another attempt to kill Gandhi, his ideas, spirit and message. Seventy five years have passed since Mahatma Gandhi passed away. There has been an increase in the number of people who consider Mahatma Gandhi's assassin, Nathuram Godse, a 'patriot'. The people who are pushing the discourse of Godse are able to do so with an ease that was not felt previously in India.

A temple of Nathuram Godse has also been set up in Madhya Pradesh and the assassin of Mahatma is seen as a cult. At a time when it is becoming common to justify Godse's act, we asked youngsters about how they regard Godse and Gandhi's murder.
