Police violence on protesters over the citizenship law has shocked the whole of Uttar Pradesh. On December 20, the protest against the citizenship law turned violent at Meenakshi Chowk in Muzaffarnagar. Did the protesters start this violence?
If not, then why use police force on protesters?
There are reports of police entering houses, vandalising and torturing the local people from this area. So far 25 people have been killed in violence over CAA in the country.
As many as 18 people have been killed in Uttar Pradesh so far.
