Thousands of protesters had gathered at Ranchi on June 10. They were protesting against anti-Islam remarks by BJP leaders.

On Friday, June 10, police opened fire in Ranchi to disperse thousands of Muslims gathering outside the Daily Market on the Ranchi Main Road.

Two people were killed, while over 18 others were seriously injured.
