Day 24 of the US-Israel War on Iran: Three Weeks Into LPG Worries, PM Addresses Crisis in Parliament
Two days after claiming that “we”, meaning the US, was getting “very close” to meeting its objectives in the Iran war, President Donald Trump announced that he had instructed the Department of War to defer for five days attacks on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure in light of "very good and productive conversations" with Iran.
However, Tehran has denied that it has held talks with the Trump administration.
The war started by strikes by the US and Israel on Iran is now in its fourth week.
Its death toll has risen to more than 1,500 people in Iran, more than 1,000 people in Lebanon, 15 in Israel and 13 US military members, as well as a number of civilians on land and sea in the Gulf region. Millions of people in Lebanon and Iran have been displaced.
