Watch: All You Need to Know About the Jammu and Kashmir Budget 2022-23

This is the third time the budget has been presented in the parliament due to the absence of an elected government in the Union Territory. 

Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Jammu and Kashmir Budget 2022-23 as well as supplementary demands for the year 2021-22 on Monday. The second part of the Budget Session resumed on March 14 and will conclude on April 8, 2022. In addition to the J&K Budget, the Centre will table ‘The Constitution (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Orders (Amendment) Bill, 2022’ in Rajya Sabha. The Upper House is expected to have 64 hours to take up legislative issues apart from deliberating about issues of public importance.
