The Uttar Pradesh Police had registered a first information report (FIR) against Florets International School in Kanpur over the recitation of Islamic prayers as part of multi-faith worship in the school.

The FIR was registered after a complaint was filed by Hindutva activists who had alleged that “an attempt is being made by the school to pave way for religious conversion of the students.”
