Here, she discovers that additional teachers in the school are paid as little as Rs 3,500 for full-time work and students of class IV are still studying from the books of the previous academic year because new books have not arrived yet. She also speaks to the mid-day meal cooks, who are paid only Rs 1,000 for 6-day work.
