Watch: What Are the Protesting UPSC Aspirants Demanding From the Government?
Aspirants of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam have been demonstrating in the national capital demanding a compensatory second attempt in light of the unprecedented situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The aspirants claim that they have been unable to adequately prepare for the exam amidst the chaos of the pandemic; fighting COVID infections themselves, supporting their COVID-positive parents and having to prepare for the exam without adequate facilities.

The Wire's Mukul Singh Chauhan speaks to the protesting students to understand the struggles they have gone through, their demands and the relief, if any, that they have been promised.
