Cannes, France: The Cannes Film Festival (now called the International Film Festival) was founded in 1946 and is one of the most talked-about international film festivals. Every year, the festival previews movies m from across the world and of different genres, and hosts the who's who of world cinema.

This year too, several exciting films are being showcased. The festival opened with Woody Allen’s Café Society, Steven Spielberg showcased BFG and iconic Spanish director Pedro Almodov returned with Julieta.
