New Delhi: Veteran Hindi cinema star Kamini Kaushal passed away at the age of 98 at her home in Mumbai, news agency PTI reported.
Kaushal, who starred in the Hindi classic Neecha Nagar in 1946, was among the industry's most well paid actresses, the report said.
She starred opposite Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor with her last appearance in Amir Khan's 2022 film "Laal Singh Chaddha" at the age of 95. She also appeared in Shahrukh Khan starrer Chennai Express in 2013.
"She died at her Mumbai home late on Thursday night. She would have turned 99 in February," Sajan Narain, a close friend of the family, told PTI.
