Ahead of Bihar assembly elections, The Wire's Pawanjot Kaur speaks with these frontline health workers in Muzaffarpur about their demands.

The ASHA workers raise concerns over the non-payment of the COVID-19 incentive of Rs 1,000 per month for three months during the pandemic, and a lack of personal protective equipment kits. Apart from that, they also demand recognition and respect for performing their duties, sometimes even without timely pay.
