Day 21 of the US-Israel War on Iran: India Hikes Premium Fuel Prices, Iran Says Will Target More US-Linked Sites
The conflict in West Asia triggered by the US and Israel’s attack on Iran and subsequent retaliation by the Iranian security forces entered day 21 today, March 20. Iran’s attack on the Ras Laffan gas facility in Qatar in response to Israel striking the South Pars gas fields is expected to cut the country’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity.
In another significant development, Germany has withdrawn its support for Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Gaza genocide case, marking a shift from its position when South Africa first brought proceedings in 2023.
