New Delhi: As the crisis in West Asia resulting from the US and Israel’s war entered day 30 on Sunday (March 29), the conflict continued to jeopardise lives in the region. Five people were reportedly killed and four others wounded in Iran’s Hormozgan province in a US-Israeli strike.

Meanwhile, Southern Lebanon has been cut off from the rest of the country owing to Israeli airstrikes and ground operations which have continued unabated.

Earlier, Iranian-backed Houthi rebels had entered the monthlong war on Saturday (March 28), claiming two missile launches at Israel. Around 2,500 U.S. Marines have arrived in the region.
