New Delhi: The crisis in West Asia triggered by the US and Israel’s attack on Iran entered day 53 on Tuesday (April 21). Despite appeals by the global community to end the war, the logjam continues.

While US president Donald Trump has said that the blockade on Iranian ports will continue till Iran agrees to a deal, Tehran has made it clear that it will not conduct negotiations under the “shadow of threats” and has also warned of new "battlefield cards."
