The President of the All India Christian Council and Primate of the Good Shepherd Church of India, Archbishop Joseph Dsouza, has called the government’s proposed amendments to the FCRA, which was deferred to the next session of parliament yesterday, “loot and theft of Christian institutions and their property”. He said that this is “a Sangh parivar agenda”. If passed in the next session of parliament, he said, it will create an international storm with serious international repercussions for India.
