In a move against thousands of protesting farmers, the police has embedded iron nails, rods, barbed wire and concrete walls on the roads leading to the protest sites at Tikri and Ghazipur border. Internet services have been cut off in parts of New Delhi and adjoining areas.
The Wire spoke to the protesting farmers at the Delhi borders, who expressed their disappointment over the government’s stringent action against the ongoing farmers’ movement.
