New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share a message with the nation at 6 pm on Tuesday.
"Will be sharing a message with my fellow citizens at 6 pm this evening," he said in a tweet.
Beginning with the demonetisation move, Modi's addresses to the nation have often proven significant and sudden. The addresses are usually preceded by tweets from his accounts, which often lead to pitched speculation on their subjects.
Modi has addressed the nation a number of times during the COVID-19 crisis. The most significant of them, on March 24, was the announcement of the nationwide lockdown.
With just four hours to go, the prime minister's one-way missive had resulted in immediate chaos and an exodus among migrants that lasted for the next two months.
