On January 30, Rahul Gandhi hoisted the tricolour at Srinagar's Lal Chowk as part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. People's Democratic Party leader and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti was one of the opposition leaders who participated in the march.
