New Delhi: On Tuesday, there was an agitation held against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Residents of the area gathered in large numbers to protest against the Act. People who spoke to The Wire said that the police fired tear gas shells at peaceful protestors, after which residents pelted stones at the police. This went on for about three and a half hours.
