On September 24, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) razed 2.5 acres of slums in Dhobi Ghat, Okhla, leaving thousands homeless. This was done on the orders of the National Green Tribunal (NGT). Slum dwellers are now asking how they will protect themselves against the pandemic now that they have been rendered homeless by the government.
The Wire team went to the site to find out the issues being faced by slum dwellers who have been rendered homeless.
