Contrary to the Uttar Pradesh police's claim that the Dalit teenager at Hathras who succumbed to grievous injuries on September 29 was not raped, the medico-legal examination report (MLC) prepared by the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital (JNMCH) at Aligarh, where she was first admitted, reveals that the doctors had recorded the detail provided by her of the “complete penetration of the vagina” and indicated the use of force in their preliminary examination.
