In today's COVID-19 bulletin, The Wire covers health ministry's revised guidelines on hospital admission to COVID-19 facilities. Now a COVID-19 positive test report is not mandatory for admission to a COVID-19 treatment facility.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked Centre's help to provide the national capital with 2.6 crore vaccines as demand rises. People from the national capital region including Noida and Ghaziabad are also reportedly coming to Delhi to get vaccinated. In Maharashtra's Beed district, a doctor was allegedly beaten up by policemen even after he told them that he was a doctor on duty. Following the incident, medical staff went on a strike against the alleged incident.
