On June 15, 2004, an incident took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The incident led to questioning the Gujarat Police administration & the then chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, the country's current prime minister. This incident is the much talked about Ishrat Jahan encounter. In this case, the last three accused also got acquitted by the special CBI court, which led to this matter coming under discussion.
