West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has decided to set up a two-member commission of inquiry into the Pegasus snooping controversy. The Bengal government had said that the Union government is sitting idly and therefore, it has taken the step to look into the allegations raised by the reports that politicians, activists, students and several others may been potential targets for surveillance.
