Suspended doctor Kafeel Khan of Gorakhpur's BRD Medical College, has been found innocent in a departmental inquiry. In August 2017, more than 60 children died due to lack of oxygen at the hospital. Khan was suspended on charges of medical negligence, corruption and for not performing his duty on the day of the accident and was also jailed for nine months on these charges.

Now, that Khan has been cleared of all charges in the departmental inquiry report, he demands to be reinstated with due honour. The Wire's Avichal Dubey speaks to Kafeel Khan.
