On the instructions of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Khargone district administration and police have allegedly bulldozed the houses of those involved in alleged stone pelting at a Ram Navami procession. Officials used bulldozers on about 45 houses and shops. About 16 houses and 29 shops were destroyed on Monday. The Wire's senior editor Arfa Khanum Sherwani discussed the issue with Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan and what view the Supreme Court may take on 'bulldozer justice'.
