After reducing the strength of the Central Industrial Security Force at airports by 3,049, the Union government has recently inducted 1,924 private security personnel to guard airports.

The government has abolished 3,049 posts of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in a major change in the security infrastructure at Indian airports. In their place, 1,924 private security personnel will be deployed.

On the other hand, CISF security has been given to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur. Yaqut Ali explains what's going on.
