Recently, popular political cartoonist Manjul received an email from Twitter stating that the authorities in India believe the content associated with his Twitter account, @MANJULtoons, “violates the law(s) of India”. “Indian law enforcement”, Twitter said, had requested it to take action on this matter.
Speaking to The Wire, Manjul asked the government to clearly specify which cartoon it is objected to. Watch this video to understand the "objections" against @MANJULtoons, and also the ongoing feud between Twitter and the Government of India.
