After COVID-19, an 'unknown fever' has wreaked havoc in Uttar Pradesh. Some believe it is dengue and others call it viral fever. Whatever disease it may be, this fever is causing a lot of fear.
So far, more than 75 people have lost their lives in Firozabad alone: 17 in Mathura, three in Mainpuri and two in Kasganj. On the other hand, in Gonda, more than 3,000 people are coming to hospitals every day complaining of fever-like symptoms. In Kanpur, more than 10 people died in seven days due to viral fever.
