In Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, a protest by women MGNREGA workers has shed light on the conditions in which they work. Many of the protesters had come from miles away, some from Delhi. Speakers reflected concerns over reduced MGNREGA budgets and delayed payments and the new stipulation that payments will be dependent on Aadhaar numbers.
