Why make the effort of this political fuss…

This is bleak but I know what helps

Cold stainless metal, entangled wires,

Perfectly tempered glass that reflects my desires

This vibrance of all colors

Birthed by only three

Coded into this screen 

A finger’s touch my whim’s decree.

Master of all I virtually see

Through boundary-less waves and frequency

This grass becomes greener than reality

In a box I trap myself,

And the whole world I roam free

Cyborg body unfunctional without a phone

Through algorithms I create a data clone

What’s that rhyme we were taught?

Oligopolies make a new data farm

AI AI oh…

Turn away and look at the screens

Accessible, customisable digital dreams

And I no longer want to read

That task now belongs to the silicon-breed

Intelligence has beckoned a new ascendance 

Never-mind how it creates an eerie dependance

One more step towards technological progress

Just a little deduction in employment is not a regress.

Why Frustrated? Upskill don’t frown!

Just watch and wait this time it will trickle down.
