It's been 26 years since the Babri Masjid was demolished by a mob of kar sevaks in Ayodhya. While the site remains disputed and the Supreme Court is currently trying BJP leaders for criminal conspiracy, the incident itself is passing from living memory to history as the majority of the country's population wasn't alive when the mosque came down.
