Real journalism holds power accountable
Since 2015, The Wire has done just that.
But we can continue only with your support.
Why should I feel insecure
When I am not a Muslim?
Why should I be scared
When I don’t eat beef?
Why should I tremble with fear
When I don’t disagree with those who are in power?
Why should I try to be brave
When being timid is comfortable?
Why should I live with reason and logic
When insanity is applauded?
Why put in effort to know the truth
When there are people who will sell me opinions?
Why love others
When hate is rewarded?
If being silent is the law, I am happy with it,
Because I love to live in chains.
Why live like a human
When they say being a sheep is more productive?
