Vir Sanghvi’s journalistic journey has spanned diverse arcs and now reach almost a full circle with his recently written memoir, A Rude Life. It is the first book which by his own admission is very personal and takes the reader through, among other things, the many twists and turns of India’s political journey.

In a free-wheeling chat with Mitali Mukherjee, Sanghvi talked about the parallels he saw between former prime minister Indira Gandhi and India’s present leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He also took on the Radia tapes controversy and the professional storm he faced thereafter.
