'Huge Question Mark Over Judiciary, BJP is Filled With Goons': Abhijeet Dipke Says His Fight With Govt Not Over

New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has said that democracy in India at present faces serious threat because there is a huge “question mark” over the judiciary.

"Democracy in our country is under grave threat because there is a huge question mark over our judiciary. The CBI and ED are being used to break parties. We saw it in our state when the Shiv Sena and NCP were broken with the help of the two agencies. All institutions of democracy have remained silent. It was their job to keep democracy alive and ensure there was no autocracy of one man, but they have failed," said Dipke on Thursday (July 30), reported Economic Times.

Dipke also slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that his fight with the government is not over. He criticised the choice of Pralhad Joshi as the new Union education minister after his predecessor Dharmendra Pradhan resigned following the sustained protests led by the CJP at Jantar Mantar.

"They have removed Pradhan and brought another person who welcomes and supports the rapists of Bilkis Bano. What kind of message are you sending? But what else can they do? Their entire party is filled with goons; they have Kuldeep Sengar. Under their government, Ram Rahim comes out on parole. This is a government that supports rapists," said Dipke.

Earlier, the Congress had questioned prime minister Narendra Modi for picking Pralhad Joshi as the new education minister and said that he had “expressed consent and happiness” following the premature release of the 11 men who were convicted of gangraping a pregnant Bilkis Bano and killing several members of her family during the 2002 Gujarat riots.
