New Delhi: Across Indian states and regions, election fever has begun. It’s hard to keep track of everything that’s going on – so The Wire is bringing you this live blog of all things, big and small, that we think should be on your radar. Until June 4, when we will know which way the dominoes have fallen, stay tuned here.

The 2024 general election will be held in seven phases. The counting will be done on June 4. Voting in the first phase will be conducted on April 19. The seven phases will cover a total of 543 constituencies.

Simultaneously, elections will also be held to the assemblies of Sikkim (32 seats), Odisha (147 seats), Arunachal Pradesh (60 constituencies), Andhra Pradesh (175 constituencies). Bypolls will be held in 26 assembly constituencies in three phases. They will be held along with the parliamentary polls.
