Maharashtra's Nagpur saw communal tensions spilling over this week amid calls for Mughal emperor Aurangazeb's tomb to be removed. Clashes also took place during Holi celebrations in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday on the success of the Maha Kumbh but did not make any mention of the two separate stampedes that killed at least 48 people.
