Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has in recent weeks crafted his campaign almost entirely on targeting Indian Muslims, has now said in an interview to Network 18 that he never referred to Muslims while talking about those who produced more children and that the day he starts talking about Hindu Muslims, he will consider himself unfit for public life. A day later he promptly went on to state in another rally that Muslims are the Congress’s favourite vote bank and they will allocate 15% resources to Muslims if voted to power.
