Talking about the recently held Karnataka assembly elections and its impact on national politics, veteran Indian historian Ramachandra Guha said that Congress’s decision to make Siddaramaiah the chief minister of the state is a fine move.

He also made a strong remark that the people of Karnataka broke the arrogance of Amit Shah as had he wanted to make Karnataka like Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

On the other hand, Guha strongly believes that making Rahul Gandhi the PM face of the opposition will be a wrong move.
