Nand Kishore Gurjar, the BJP MLA from Loni has launched a 'protest' against Uttar Pradesh chief minister Adityanath after a lathicharging incident during a ‘Kalash Yatra’ during the Hindu festival of Ram Navami.

Gurjar's subsequent interviews in which he spoke of corruption in the Uttar Pradesh government went viral on social media causing speculations of a rift between Yogi and his people. In a press conference he claimed that the ‘Ram Rajya’ which BJP had promised, has now become a den of crime and that the results of the Lok Sabha elections are testament to this.
